Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral Counseling is an interaction in which the individual may, with the assurance of confidentiality, emotional and spiritual support, and the message of God's merciful love, address those issues which keep him or her from experiencing the fullness of life intended for us. At University Lutheran Church, Dr. Brian Hooper is our Pastor and also a fully qualified pastoral counselor. According to Pastor Hooper, "Helping individuals move from an emotional and spiritual place of pain to fuller wholeness is one of my greatest delights in ordained ministry. This is reflected in my personal mission statement in which I speak of my desire to lead the church in being a community of personal healing, interpersonal reconciliation, and mission focused discipleship..."
